Pair of Cranes (A2982)

Add an air of graceful calm to your garden with a pair of bronze cranes. You will have to look twice at these symbols of long life to make sure they are not real birds. They are beautifully handcrafted using the ‘lost wax’ method. These are not imitation bronze; they are the real thing.

Cranes are one of the most spectacular of the bird families. Although they are similar in appearance to herons they are in fact a completely different species.

There is a connection point for a pond pump on the heal of each bird. If positioned next to a pond or stream they can be connected to pond pumps residing in the pond. With pumps operating water will flow from the beaks of the birds into the adjacent pond or stream.

A submersible pump is required to drive the water through the feature. The pond pump will normally reside in your garden pond and will feed water from the pond to the bronze. Two mains 240Vac pond pumps are available with this feature as options. A 2000 lph pond pump is recommended for connection to the higher crane and a 1000 lph pump for connection to the lower crane.
