Earth Fountain

An earth like sphere mounted on a pedestal this self-contained fountain has a rugged, rippled surface. The feature is manufactured from resin but it has a layer of real powdered granite on the surface. This gives the surface the appearance of being carved granite. The pedestal has a circular moat type of feature at the surface but is hollow inside; the inside conceals a reservoir containing water for circulation through the feature and a submersible pond pump. The pond pump pumps water up through a hole passing through the centre of the sphere from where it flows out across the surface of the sphere, tricking down across the rippled granite surface and falling into the moat section of the base pedestal. Water drains from the moat to the inside the hollow pedestal returning to the concealed reservoir for re-circulation.
