Carved from speckled granite the split is a modern yet curvaceous feature. Each side of the Split has a bore hole drilled down its length through which water flows. The design allows two waterproof spotty lights to be fitted at the top and one at the base. With the spotty lights fitted water spurting from the top can be illuminated and the movement of the water over the light creates a flickering effect similar to that of a candle. Please note that the spotty light shown in the photographs is not included with the feature but is available as an option.

We recommend using a pebble pool base for most installations. The Finia 1000 is a heavy duty pool that can withstand the weight of a granite feature of this type. For installation it is normally buried in the ground, covered with stone or shale and the feature positioned on top of it. The Finia 1000 is also available as an option.

A pond pump is required to drive the water from the pond or pebble pool base up through the feature's bore hole to the point at which it emerges from the top of the granite. Again the pond pump is not included with the main feature but is available as an option. When the pond pump is purchased as an option it is supplied with the flexible hose etc. needed to connect it to the feature. The pond pump will normally reside beneath the water, inside the pebble pool base and has 10m of cable for connection to a mains 240V supply.
