The Kasuga Japanese lantern has been hand carved from solid granite. The enduring quality of granite means this item will withstand the weather and the test of time. This tall lantern can be placed near a pond or anywhere in the garden to bring an oriental flavour. The roof can be lifted to allow a tea light to be placed inside giving the flicker of natural light at nighttime. The lantern is also pre-drilled so you can fit a low voltage electric light if preferred.
