Working pumps suitable for use as barrel pumps etc for drawing water to be used in the garden. These water pumps may also be used for making an attractive water feature in your garden.
	Village Pump (VP) Working cast iron village pump often referred to as a P1 pump. The pump has a screwed 1¼" BSP fitting at the base such that a lift pipe may be fitted and four 11mm holes in the flange for mounting bolts. When the handle is cranked water may be drawn from several feet. The position of the handle may be altered to be at the back or to one side by slackening its retaining bolts and rotating the handle to the desired position. 	Rose-Handle Pump (RHP) This working cast iron pump is similar to the village pump but has a patterned finish. Its fittings and fixings are identical to that of the village pump. However, unlike the village pump, its handle cannot be moved to a position at the side of the pump. Approx. height 25" (63cm), base diameter 6¼" (16cm). 	Pitcher Pump (PP) Working cast iron pitcher pump. This pump is smaller than the village pump. It has a screwed 1¼" BSP fitting at the base such that a lift pipe may be fitted and four 6mm holes in the flange for mounting bolts. When the handle is cranked water may be drawn from several feet. The position of the handle may be altered to be at the back or to one side by slackening its retaining bolt and rotating the handle to the desired position. 	Village Pump Stand (VPSTND) Cast iron stand for the Village Pump (VP). The stand has a flange at the top suitable for fitting a Village Pump (VP) and has a base with four mounting bolt holes of 11mm in diameter. It may be used to give extra height to the village pump. The pump stand itself is hollow allowing a lift pipe for the village pump to pass through it. Approx. height 27" (67cm), base diameter: 9½" (24cm).
