With meticulous attention to detail these troughs have been carefully reproduced capturing the timeless beauty of natural stone. Made from a lightweight polymer resin material blended with crushed stone they weigh and cost only a fraction of the real stone alternatives.

Lightweight stone planters Manufactured by Elmdene Patio Garden Art in the UK this excellent range of reproduction lightweight stone troughs are mainly used as Alpine rock garden planters but are also ideal as a general planter or even as a water feature.

Elmdene troughs Elmdene products are made from frost proof materials that have been tested in extreme conditions.

Cross section

The cross section shows the typical full wall thickness of all Elmdene troughs.

stable ring Stable rings can be supplied to add a little extra to the 'rural authenticity'. Traditionally these were fixed to stone drinking troughs as tethering rings.
