The Cut Away Lion Mask is made from Polycast resin, the same UV and frost resistant material as the standard Lion's Mask. However this feature has a more unusual design and a cast-iron effect finish. When operating water spurts from the lion's mouth and cascades down to the lower basin, from where it is circulated back to the top of the feature.

This feature is supplied complete with a pond pump and wall plugs for mounting. A 240Vac mains powered pond pump is concealed in the water reservoir Plumbing etc. is not required since the water from the reservoir passing through the spout returns to the reservoir. The pump is supplied with a 10m length of power cable. This cable can be taken through a hole drilled in the wall behind the feature or it can be clipped to the face of the wall to reach a point at which entry into the building is possible. Common entry points for the cable include air bricks or a hole drilled through a window or door frame.
