Slate water features comprising of a stack of real Welsh slate available in a variety bases. The column of this very natural feature is approx 30" (76cm) high. The slate stack is supported by a central steel tube. There is a hole in each slate enabling the slate to simply slot on to the steel tube. While the weight of the slate stack alone is substantial the slates can be individually lifted off the central tube making it easier to move this water feature to the desired location in your garden. A 230V, 11W electric pond pump circulates the water from the base up the central tube to the top of the slate stack. Water cascades down the slates giving a similar effect to a mountain stream in the Welsh mountains or Lake District.

Mountain Stream Water Feature (MSWF) - mixed plumb and green coloured slate stack in an oak tub base. A submersible electric pond pump circulates the water. Approx diameter of base 36" (90cm), approx depth of base 12" (30cm).

Mountain Tarn Water Feature (MTWF) - Similar to the mountain stream water feature except the base consists of a 150 litre plastic easypond. The easypond may be sunken into the ground or built around using stone or brick. A submersible pond pump is included.

Mountain Quarry Water Feature (MQWF) - 30" slate stack on a pebble pool base. A bag of slate shale is included for covering the base. The base can be sunken into the ground so that only the slate stack and shale are visible. This substantial base is recommend because of its strength, large diameter and water storage capacity, which are advisable for this feature. A submersible pond pump is included.

Electric Pumps MSWF, MTWF and MQWF are supplied with electric pond pumps that are rated at 240Vac, 50Hz and are complete with 10m of power cable.
