The pretty Rankei Japanese lantern is cleverly designed to hang over water, carved from solid Grey granite with a curved decorative pedestal so when located by the edge of a pond or stream its unique image will be reflected on the waters surface below.
The roof can be lifted off to allow a tea light to be placed inside giving the flicker of natural light at night time. The lantern is also pre-drilled so you can fit a low voltage electric light if preferred.
